We had our ultrasound yesterday and are proud to annouce that it's a boy!!! His name is Caden Scott Marx. Caden means warrior/spirit of battle so it will be interesting to see what kind of little boy he is! And Scott is his daddy's middle name :)
Now for the fun part of decorating and preparing!!! I'm very big on planning so in the evenings I'm spending my time trying to figure out color schemes and decor for the room. We have decided to utilize what is now the guest room because it is the biggest bedroom and we will be spending a lot of time in there! I don't want it to be too themed because I need it to be easy to redecorate when Caden gets older, and if we were to have to move. I can't wait to go shopping!!
below is the ultrasound video that they recorded for us. I know it's kind of hard to tell what you are looking at sometimes but she points out the boy part and you get the idea of the head and legs and arms and spine when you see them. Of course I've been watching it over and over so I can tell you every movement and what it is that he's doing in there. haha. At one point he's upside down trying to flip! I felt him flip over last night too when I was sitting down on the couch watching tv. It was so cool! I love being able to say "him" instead of the baby or "it"!
