Two projects complete!

Yay for finishing projects!! I had two that I've been putting off for months and months that I made myself sit down and do no matter how dirty I thought the house was. That's what I do, I put off my craft projects because I always feel like I should be cleaning the house. If I just clean the house then I can sit down and do that project.....but by the time I'm done cleaning I'm too tired to do anything else! And the cycle begins again. So enough with putting them off. Time to get what I can done now before our little bundle of joy steals the show! :)

The first project I completed was a picture frame that I bought at Kirklands (those of you who know me well know almost my whole house is decorated from there ) I wanted more pictures of the family up around the house so I got this frame and then never did anything with it! So I put pictures of both sides of our families in it all black and white at Jeremy's request and it turned out great! Here's a photo:

The next project I completed was reupholstering our breakfast table chairs! I have been needing to do this forever, and was gung ho about it at the beginning of the year. I enlisted the help of Bryce's fiance Mary Kathryn because she's an interior design major and has great taste, looked all over town for the right fabric to match the style of the chair and table, and finally I found one that had the same colors as the old fabric but a much prettier design. Please ignore my floor it's just bare concrete from Jeremy ripping up the tile! Here's two pictures:

So I'm feeling very accomplished tonight and can now start on organizing and redecorating the guest room and then the baby's room as soon as Bryce vacates that space! In the mean time Jeremy will be re-tiling the floor and re-grouting our shower! so many things to do but we have to start somewhere!
