Caden's first pumpkin patch!

Hooray for fall and chilly weather!  Today we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins and it was the first real day of cold weather.  It started out absolutely beautiful with blue sky and bright sunshine and somehow turned overcast and cloudy and windy out of nowhere!  But it was fun even though it was a short trip.  Jeremy was not feeling well today as he has pink eye, a sinus infection that's giving him terrible headaches, and an inner ear infection all at the same time!!!  My poor hubby :(  But he was a trooper and came along so Caden could visit his first pumpkin patch!  Here's some pics.

So we got 3 pumpkins, one for me, one for jeremy and of course one for Caden.  We might be able to carve them tomorrow.  We also got a pumpkin bread mix that I will make tomorrow!  And some yummy pumpkin butter with honey!
