slowly but surely :)

So I'm on my 3rd week of consistently working out during the work week.  I had been working out previously but there was always something happening either with Caden being sick, or just too tired or whatever.  So I'm back on track and ready to lose this dang weight!  It's easier when Jeremy is gone because I don't have to worry about cooking dinner and I'll just eat little meals. 

So the first week I ran 4 days 2 miles each day.  felt pretty good to start getting back in the groove.  2nd week I ran 3 miles for 3 days and did spin class on Friday.  Now I'm not a great runner so I do have to stop after the first mile and drink some water and then keep running and I'll usually walk uphill at a pretty steep incline for about 1/2 a mile in between.  Anyway this is my 3rd week and I ran 4 miles yesterday!  Thought I was going to pass out afterwards but I did it.  This morning I weighed myself and I'm down to 141!  Just last week I was 144.  My goal is to be back down to 130 but I'm trying to take it in 5 pound increments.  My clothes are starting to fit again and I feel really good!  Lighter, firmer, happier :)  Currently I can fit into my "fat" jeans from before I was prego.  Basically I'm a size 6 right now.  I can wear size 8 but they are def loose.  And the size 10 pants I bought to go back to work after Caden are WAY TOO BIG now :) yay!  Not too long ago I could still wear them and they were just a little loose.  Now they are just too big and almost fall off.  

So today I'm going to go to spin class during lunch.  I'm going to alternate days this week between running and spin class.  I'm so blessed to have a job where my boss sees the importance of working out and allows me to work out during the day as long as it's not interfearing with my work. :)   I keep trying to update my weight loss ticker but for some reason I can't get to it from work now so I'll try and remember to update it this evening.  Here's to losing weight! yay!
