Almost vacation time!

Our vacation is a little less than a week away and we are so excited!!  And today we got a house/dog sitter so we don't have to bring the dogs or worry about who could help us take care of the pool while we're gone! Oh man what a relief.  I love the dogs but dang they can be a headache sometimes!!  So we will get a vacation from dog duty too :) A lot more space in the car for our stuff, or should I say Caden's stuff, and it won't smell on our road trip! haha! Dog breathe in a confined space is no bueno.  And knowing we won't come home to a swamp of a pool is nice too! I just hope nothing happens to make this plan fall through!

So I need to make my list of things to get done this week before we leave.  Our first stop will be Houston to visit my bro, my bestie Jenn, and my Uncle John and Aunt Carole, and bonus my cousin Jimi who I forgot was in Houston right now! We would like to get there in time to go to a baseball game on Saturday but we will see! I'm so freakin excited to see Jenn :)  She's been able to visit me here a couple times so even though it's a quick visit Im glad I get to visit her in Houston!  So we'll stay in Houston for a night then drive up to College Station to visit Jeremy's bro Bryce and his wife MK (Mary Kathryn for those that don't know ) They just moved into their first house so we're really excited to see it! Also they just moved to Texas from here so we miss being able to hang with them,  We will stay with them for a night then drive to Dallas Monday morning.  The beginning of our trip will def be busy!!  We will be in Dallas until the 25th then fly to Cali to visit Jeremy's Sister Ashley and her hubby David.  It will be so cool to see where they live and enjoy the beach with them :) I'm so excited to see Caden play in the sand!  Then we fly back to Dallas on the 30th (Caden's birthday!) and will have his 1st birthday party on July 3rd :)  It will be a 4th of July theme of course.  I can't wait to go shopping for the decorations and everything!  But all the bday details are for another another day :) gotta get some sleep now, got a busy week ahead of me!
