September begins :)

It's September!!  Hooray!! I am definitely in love with the holiday seasons but for some reason this year i'm completely and utterly over the top excited for fall and the holidays that come soon after :)  I'm pretty sure it has to do with me being a stay at home mom now and getting to see Caden experience everything "for the first time".  Obviously he experienced everything last year but was a little to young to know what was going on ;)  Not to mention our first Christmas was spent in the hospital because Caden had pneumonia :( He won't remember this Christmas either but he will still get a kick out of unwrapping presents and seeing all the pretty lights :) hmmmm now I have to plan a strategy to keep him away from the tree.... oh well i have plenty of time for that!

So I'm 13 weeks today :) And I pretty much thought I was over the sickness part of the pregnancy but this little baby decided nope not yet!!  Friday ALL DAY I was so sick.  Could not eat anything. Threw up everything and lost yet another pound.  :(  Normally that would have an exclamation mark next to it but obviously losing weight right now is not what I'm trying to do! I was so thankful that this happened on Jeremy's 4 day weekend because he was so helpful.  I couldn't do anything.  I was able to rest and sleep and try to get over it.  This morning I felt great and got up moved around and started to feel blah again.  That weak, need food, sick feeling.  So I was able to eat a little bit at a time and move slowly and get us out the door to check out Callaway Gardens Hot air balloon festival! 

Let me just say it was a BUST.  I felt better as the day progressed but apparently the winds were too strong for them to actually launch any balloons, or give rides like promised on the advertisements.  So dissappointed! We had lunch with some friends and browsed the car show but left after a couple hours.  Tried to get a discount on our visit but since we had been there just over 2 hours we couldn't get one.... LAME.  Oh well it was something to do I guess.  So to not waste a day out we drove to Auburn to hang out with my brother in law Josh!  It was game day in Auburn so school spirit and tail gaiting parties galore!!  It was really fun.  We had some food at one of Josh's friends tail gait tents then walked around Auburn checking out shops and just observing the hustle and bustle.  Caden did great and waved at everyone he could. hehe.  He loves to wave right now so he does it all the time!  When it's bed time, when we leave the room, when you enter the room, or even when someone on tv says hi or bye ;) He's so cute. 

SO as to not waste the rest of our weekend, I'm hoping tomorrow I feel ok enough to get some of our home projects started.  We need to clean out the garage. It's not too bad, we cleaned it out not long ago, but since we went camping it's been cluttered and can't fit both vehicles anymore. So we just need to put things back and hang the canoe on the wall. Hopefully won't take longer than a couple hours. If that. I would really like to move Caden into his new room!  And paint the laundry room.  So we will see what we actually get done in the next two days.  I just need Jeremy's help painting the laundry room, and moving the furniture out of the guest room to make room for caden's stuff. The rest of the decorating and organizing I can do :)
