Fabulous Friday!

I've decided I would try to do a Fabulous Friday post each week featuring something FABULOUS!  Like fab finds, ideas, projects, other blogs I love, or just something I'm super excited about!

So to kick this off I would like to share with you a FABULOUS antique store I discovered today!  I've never been big on thrift or antique store shopping but my current project list has left me wanting to search for VERY inexpensive things so as not to blow our budget out of the water each paycheck.  And after today I really enjoy it!  I started off my day at a local consignment sale trying to find some sandals for Caden. No luck. Then I jumped over to Goodwill to look around and try to find something cool. Nada.  So I googled antique stores in town and found GINA'S JUNK let me just say I could spend all day browsing around in there!  There's a bunch of different little rooms and just the neatest things every where you turn!  I also was able to chat with Gina as I was checking out and she is such a sweet lady.

She has a facebook page and a blog where she uploads pictures of her latest finds.  Not everything can be photographed of course so you need to make a trip there to find some treasures.  Here's what I found today!

A FABULOUS book rack for Caden's room! I replaced the bookshelf seen in the picture below.

Looks way cuter right?!  I LOVE IT.  And it was only $12.00! I googled wall mounted book rack and found one that looks exactly like the one I just purchased selling for $88.00! And other stores selling somewhat similar kinds for anywhere from $50-$100.  So I'm super proud of this find :)

There were more items I am just dieing to bring home but some things I need to discuss with the hubs before I purchase ;) $12 no biggie, $30 I should probably make sure i wont be getting off track from our budget!  Ah the married, responsible, adult life!

I'm planning on using the bookshelf for Caden's toy nook so he can have more books downstairs as well.  I'm a little afraid it might be too big and take up too much space in there so if it does I'll put it to good use elsewhere.  I just painted the nook a beautiful blue color. I'm really excited to show yall when everything is finished! :)  I just have a few more things to do to it so stay tuned!

Until then go shop Gina's Junk! And let me know what you find!
