decisions decisions!

So previously I was really really dieing to be a stay at home mom.  And Jeremy and I decided that after we paid off our debt that I could do just that!  Well with the start of the new year we both sat down to look at our progress and see how we need to adjust the budget and what we could start putting into savings. 

I keep a spreadsheet with all our bills for each month, so I can easily calculate what is coming in, and how much is going out and what we have extra to either play with or save.  After removing all the debt payments that will be gone by March we saw how much extra we will have with me still working.  Then we took away my income and holy guacamole we will be just getting by even without the debt.  We could def make it and be able to save a tiny amount each month but compared to the amount of money we could be saving for Caden's future, family vacations, and if Jeremy decides to get out and we move back to Texas we will need a good nest for ourselves while we get situated.  So until further notice I will be contiuing to work. 

This isn't something I decided lightly either.  But I did pray about it and when we discussed it I felt at peace with the decision.  Caden does very well at day care and my job is very flexible with me when needed.  I can always be there for Caden if (heaven forbid) he gets sick again.  And my hours are nothing to complain about!  getting off at 3:30 sometimes 4:30 is so great.  So decision made.
