It's Fall! It's Fall! It's Fall!!!!!

It's Fall Yall!!  Can you tell I'm excited?  So yesterday was officially our first day of fall.  It was chilly in the house when we woke up and could wear long sleeves comfortably all day ;) The afternoon got up to mid 70's so the whole day was quite pleasant!  I've been holding off on wanting to hit up the pumpkin patches until it was actually chilly.  Kind of strange to me to be walking around in shorts and t-shirts picking out pumpkins!  I want to be able to get some hot cider!  And not to mention we can get great pictures in our fall wear :)  Not sure when we will decide to go but now I can start looking around for a fun one to check out!

I subscribe to Allrecipes.com daily dish email.  One day last week I received a fabulous email highlighting Pumpkin spice lattes!  I quickly shared it with my friend April who loves them and just coffee in general far more than I do ;) I was able to try it out, a little modified yesterday and WOW.  So glad i got this recipe!  It's so much easier than you would have thought!  And talk about cheaper since you most likely have all the ingredients already!  No espresso machine required!

I'll start with how I made mine:
I first brewed up some coffee in our Keurig
While that was going I heated up some milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds. I added some zero calorie sweetener, pumpkin pie spice (just a dash) and some vanilla extract to the milk.
Then I blended the milk mixture in my Magic bullet.  Love that thing!  And talk about so much simpler than breaking out the whole blender for just one latte.
So blending that makes the milk nice and frothy.  Pour it into a half a cup of coffee, sprinkle a little pumpkin pie spice on top and VOILA!

You can go here: Pumpkin Spice latte for the recipe from Allrecipes.com.    Now OBVIOUSLY you can totally create whatever latte you want doing this.  Use just vanilla flavor for a vanilla latte!  There's no limit to what you can create.
