Caden's Texas Room!

YAY!  I know yall are excited! :) I am so happy about his new room :) It finally feels like an actual bedroom!  You know how you have that guest room that kind of just catches everything and doesn't have a real theme?  That was this room for a long time. UGH!  I've never liked the room so I dont have any before pictures! sorry. But here are the pictures now! Enjoy!

A cute boot that says Howdy! Hanging on his door.  Kind of hard to tell that it says howdy so I decided to help you out a bit ;)

Freakin cute right?! I found this at Hobby Lobby 50% off! $3 bucks baby.  And the fact that I found it here in Georgia is awesome. :)

Found this at the Christmas in the South show in October. It's hanging to the left as you walk in his room.

Love this wall!  Two great dressers!  Right now I'm only using the one on the right.  The one on the left Jeremy is planning on taking with him when he goes to Fort Rucker for training.   The letters for his name I already had I just spray painted them red! 

A picture of our little cowboy :) I just put a piece of scrapbook paper behind the picture.

I had these in the room previously side by side above the guest bed as kind of a head board.  It's just a wooden empty frame that I painted white and I hung red stars that I got on clearance last year after the 4th of July at Hobby Lobby!  Love that place.

Close up of one of the letters. In his other bedroom they were painted blue and brown stripes.  When I spray painted it the stripes still show through and give it this look.  fab right?!

I. LOVE. THIS!  Again, Hobby Lobby.  It can kind of freak you out at night though. LOL.  I went in last night to cover caden up and it was like a shadow of a man in there! eek! 

The bunk beds :) I got red sheets for them to try and break up all the blue going on.  My wonderful mother in law gave us the bedding with the beds.  I didnt want to go out and buy new comfortors when these are so soft!  So I just got the sheets and I think it looks so cute!

Caden's cute stool to get up to the bottom bunk!  No he's not sleepin in it yet. But he loves to get up there and play. And yes we do have rails for the bottom and top beds!  But since no one is sleeping in them yet they are being stored under neath.  Along with the ladder.

His books and more stars!  And surprise, the stars are NOT from Hobby Lobby :) We have had these for a long time so I can't quite remember where we got them. Thought about painting the book shelf a different color but I'll save that for another day.

And his room would not be complete with the Texas Flag!!  Given to us courtesy of Pepaw!  (my dad) It was flown in Saudi during Desert Storm.  Gotta love our military family :)  And that's the camera I love so much for caden's video monitor above the flag! 

Caden's crib. No I didnt go out and get new bedding to match the room.  But check out that awesome wire hanging down the wall from the camera! haha.  Classy I know ;) Oh well.  

This lamp on one of the dressers I want to do something with to match the room.  I thought about spray painting the shade with the same paint I used for the letters but I'm not sure it will look right.... Any ideas?!  And no that's obviously not Caden in the picture frame!  Caden got that for Christmas from his great grandma Nancy but I have yet to put his picture in it.

His curtains!  From Target.  I used this straw looking tie that I cut off of one of my beach straw hats that I never wear anymore. Did that make sense? LOL.  Anyway it's like straw and perfect to tie the curtains back with.

And of course he tries to squeeze through the arm and gets stuck. LOL.  silly boy!  He loves his new room!
