Farewell Party!

The life of a military family means you often have to say goodbye to great friends.  A lesson I learned all to well growing up an Air Force brat.  But I've learned to view it as a blessing because I have so many friends all over the country! 

No, we are not the ones moving, for a while anyway! Our friends, the Miles family, are moving to California!  So we had an appropriately themed farewell party for them!  My friend Jenn and I planned it and it was such a success!  So I wanted to share some pictures from the party. 

Ok, no this one is not from the party but somehow no one got a picture of them! So I had to share a pic of the family we were celebrating :)

Our friend Lindsay made this fruit plate! A shark carved from a watermelon! She's so talented!

Jeremy and I :) Isnt that photo stand in great?! It was definitely a fun party decor that I plan to use again for Caden's 2nd birthday party!

Pool time!  And the fence is finally finished!  I just love the white picket fence around the pool.

Me and Andrea.  Another friend that recently moved away! :( Her daughter Addison and Caden were born the same day.  They drove down from Kentucky to bid the Miles farewell!  So happy to see them again!

So even though Caden and I got home from visiting my parents on Thursday and then had this party Friday I think it turned out pretty great!  I'm so sad they will be moving.  What a fun family that we have been blessed to know! Good luck Val and Ethan! Praying for a smooth transition moving back home to Cali!
