New words & Potty time!

It's Mother's day weekend and Caden and I are visiting my parents (caden's memaw and pepaw) in Washington!  Because my parents live so far away from us, literally across the country, it's SUPER special when we get to visit each other.  

This is Caden's first visit to memaw and pepaw's house and we have nothing on the agenda except to enjoy each other's company and play with Caden!  It has been so fun to hear my parents compare stories of my firsts so I thought it would be fun to share with y'all some of Caden's recent firsts.  As much as I can remember anyway!  He's growing so fast!  Every day there's something new that he's doing and learning.  


First official word: Uh-Oh!!  
Yes his first word was uh-oh!  haha It's so cute every time.  I classify this as his first word because it's the first one he said and actually knew what it meant!  No of course I can't remember when he said it for the first time!

This was his first lemon but I thought it was a perfect uh-oh picture too :) 

 

 New words!  This is really why I wanted to do this post :) Every day he is saying a new word!  Because I've been terrible at writing stuff in his baby book I'll blog about it and then I'll have something to reference when I actually get the chance take the time to sit down and fill it in :)

Potty time!! 

 

He has recently started expressing interest in the potty!  He takes his pants off and can take his diaper off! Last week during one of his pantsless afternoons he ran up to me and said "poo poo"  (for him that just means potty) so I put him on the potty and he went!  Who knew going potty was so exciting?!  haha.  So now we are trying to learn how to go potty :) More on that in another post though!
