Picabu Bistro!

Have yall ever watched that show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?  We were watching it last night and they featured a restaurant near my parents called Picabu Bistro!  They have a really yummy menu featuring all kinds of different dishes. 


My mom and I were able to have a great lunch date there for Mother's day while Dad had guy time with Caden :)  

You would never guess this place has such amazing food! I LOVE FOOD so I was really excited to try it out!

 

I had the Desert Lime Chicken: Boneless-skinless chicken breast rubbed with herbs and spices, char-grilled and finished with feta and fresh lime juice, served over black bean chili and crispy polenta. And YES it tasted as good as that sounds :)

Mom had the Chicken Phad Thai: Rice noodles pan-fried with sprouts, scallions, Small Planet tofu, and your choice of chicken or shrimp, in a spicy-sweet sauce.  Garnished with peanuts, cilantro, and lime. 

And this is what Dad was teaching Caden: 

Yep that's a brisket :) (dont worry it's in a food saver bag, it's not just chillin there raw!)
