Our week in Pictures

The first week of January was my recover week from our trip to Texas.  We drove home last Sunday so I gave myself a week to get unpacked and re-situated, and start my resolutions this week!

One of my resolutions was to stay on top of pictures.  And to do that I ordered the project life photo album by Becky Higgins.

You have to order the components separately now which stinks because when I first looked at them you could order it as a whole kit! Anyway you pick which album you want, the coordinating journal cards (which are in the box) and then the photo pocket pages in the style you prefer. 

I am going to do four pictures per week to portray what we were up to!  Special times like Birthday and Christmas will also get their own week, but I will most likely do a separate simple photo album with those pictures.  I like the idea of having a special birthday photo album for Caden each year :) I already have his 1st birthday in a separate album, and still need to print the pictures from his 2nd birthday party. 

So I thought it would be fun to share with y'all the pictures I choose for each week!  This is for the first week of January!

Caden and his Awpaw! (My Dad) I came back from getting my hair cut and Dad had found caden's overalls and dressed him to match his own :) haha! It was so cute seeing them pal around in matching overalls.

Caden and his pal Rylie!  This was our first play date of the year!  Rylie is my dear friend April's daughter.  We went to her house and when this sweet ride was revealed Caden was so excited! I love that he was sporting the goggles from Rowan's tool kit.

I took this while we were playing at my sweet friend Heather's house! Caden's buddies with her son Eli.  I thought this picture was so perfect because Caden seems to have suddenly turned into this rough and tough, karate kicking, dinosaur growling boy and it's hilarious!

I had to include one of him and Eli together.  They were finding rocks to throw around. Thankfully not at each other :)

I'm sure you can already tell who will be in the majority of these pictures! I'll have to make it a point to have friends take pictures of me as well to throw in there!
