Healthy baby and lots of pictures!

Praise Jesus the ultrasound showed a healthy baby today!  The blood flow numbers were lower which is a good thing.  They are measuring the blood flow in the baby's brain. The faster the flow the more anemic she is. Because the red blood cells are being destroyed by my antibodies. Does that make sense? So that's what we are looking for each week.  So until next week! Here's my 16 week picture :)

Now I want to share what I intended to share yesterday.  Updates in pictures! Here's what we've been up to....

For starters we found out we're having a girl! I know, super early to already know but they did a special blood test to determine the baby's blood type just by drawing a sample of my blood! They are able to figure out what part of my blood is the baby's and then test it without having to do an amnio.  Pretty crazy right?  They were looking to determine if the baby is O+ or O-.  Unfortunately the baby is O+ which means the antibodies will attack her red blood cells. If she was O- like me that would be one less antibody to worry about! Oh well. God is in control of that obviously. And we're in the perfect place to be treated for it.  They've just recently started including the sex of the baby with the test.  So we had no idea it would come back telling us boy or girl.  They used to not include it for fear of people using it to decide whether or not to keep a pregnancy if it was not what they wanted..... I won't even talk about how ridiculous that is.  Sadly I know people out there do that.  *sigh* But what a blessing to us! We got to find out unexpectedly that we will be having the first girl in the family! And bonus, Dr. Moise said in his experience girls tend to do better with this than boys do.  I found that very interesting.  No we do not have a name picked out yet.  We've bounced a couple ideas around but none of them seem to be just right yet.  I am totally driving Jeremy crazy with me changing my mind constantly :)

Ok moving on, I have lots more pictures to share. Promise they won't all be a long paragraph description!

My dad and I took Caden to the zoo! Houston has a really nice zoo with lots of fun family events.

Right now they have a Dinosaur exhibit and Caden loved growling at all the dinosaurs.

We've hung out with Uncle Tony!

We flew kites with Awpaw!

My hubby had surgery on his right leg to correct what's called Popiteal Artery Entrapment Syndrom.  And my dad was able to go to Columbus to help him recover, and so many of our sweet friends brought him meals!!  He's recovering well and will have surgery on the other leg sometime in December.

We went to a pumpkin patch!

We got to play with cousin Hampton!

And Nana came to visit!

I started showing much earlier this time! This is my 14 week picture.

I have not been on top of doing Caden's preschool activities, but we finally started learning about the letter A!

We got to skype with our sweet friends April and Amy and their kiddos :) Caden is trying to tickle Rowan here....or poke him in the eye ;)

We went to the zoo again for the halloween activities they have!  Caden was such a stud in his superman costume!

We painted some pumpkins!

Caden got to see his little sister at an ultrasound :)

And we've gotten to spend tons of time with my mom, Awmaw!

None of this would be as easy as it has been without God's loving provision and allowing my parents to be free to go wherever we need help.  We miss our home and being with Jeremy but will get to see him when he visits this weekend, next weekend and Thanksgiving!

Thank yall for your prayers and support.  It's really important to us and we definitely feel your love!
