21 weeks

21 weeks.  Its finally here and we still have a healthy baby!! :)  This was the week I think I was most nervous about.  Making it past the point we lost Christian.  And God completely answered ours and your prayers.  We went in this morning, and I was so thankful Jeremy got to be here for this appointment!! He was in town for thanksgiving and didn't fly out until this afternoon.  This was the very first appointment he's been able to attend with me since I've been here!
Her levels were the same as last week which is so amazing as they have previously been trending up even with her growth.  And absolutely no fluid build up which is what happened with Christian, and is a sign of hydrops.  They were so incredibly thorough with this ultrasound knowing this is when we lost Christian, and how nervous we were. They took picture after picture and measured everything over and over.
God is SO GOOD.  Whatever we have to face ahead of us I am so thankful this week was positive and uneventful! In terms of appointments of course.  Thanksgiving weekend was far from uneventful!

So what's next?  A lot of the same :) Doctor's appointments every monday for the ultrasound to check her blood flow and my IVIG treatements Tuesday and Wednesdays.  Paying attention every day to every movement this little one makes, and lots of prayers.

Are we out of the woods? NO.  Every week brings the same concerns, is her blood flow too fast meaning she's becoming anemic?  Is there fluid build up making her hydropic? Is she moving enough? Will this be the week she needs a transfuion? Will we even get to have a transfuion or will she pass just as quickly as Christian?! All things completely out of our control, and all things we continue to pray about and trust in God's plan for her.

God we praise You and Thank you for the journey so far.  Thank You for taking care of our family while we are apart.  While Jeremy undergoes his own surgeries and recovery without his wife by his side.  Thank You for the strength You've given me getting through every treatment and appointment without my husband by my side.  Lord thank You for these doctors and their incredible talents You bestowed upon them. God I thank You for healing me of the first trimester sickness and the headaches from each treatment so that I may have the energy and ability to care for and teach Caden.  Thank You for the constant support from our family.  I praise Your name Heavenly Father and want to glorify your name in all that we do.  God You are an awesome God. Always.  In Jesus name. Amen.
